Denmark is known for its strict migration policy in Europe. The asylum numbers in Denmark per capita of the population are low compared to its European neighbors. The new minister for immigration and integration, Rasmus Stoklund, told Deutsche Welle, he thinks „the European asylum system is broken in general.“
