Our waterways often bear the brunt of modern-day human negligence. Most of India‘s ponds, lakes and oceans are polluted or contaminated due to human activity. Led by founder Arun Krishnamurthy, Environmentalist Foundation of India focuses on reviving these bodies of water through a community-based conservation effort, with their work now extending into the surrounding forest ecosystems.
